More and More Astra Latches are being fixed at home based on advise automotive online forums many which have resulted in hydraulic pump failure. This month ALNO Product Services have supplied eight Roof latches we have repaired.

We are not sure if they are coming from the same operator / auto trimmer latches repaired by this Sydney based operator make the roof slam down on the windscreen when closing.

ALNO Product Services is more than happy to purchase the latches if you decide to fit new roof locking mechanism but we are not interested in buying them if they have been modified.

Holden Astra Roof - Oil Leak - Roof Stuck

Another week another failure somehow a backyard mechanic (autotrimmer) has used cable tires to keep the latches from coming apart. This is a first when the Owner's partner got in the car to open the roof the hydralic pump failed costing $7500. The owner was not a happy camper particularly when the autotrimmer was not going to assit in the replacement of the pump.

ALNO Product Services are now supplying Hydralic lines along with the Hydralic oil. For more information in the oil and or oil lines please contact Alno Product Services.

In addition ALNO Product Services continue to supplying Holden Astra Roof Latches and fix up backyard quick fixes.

If you are replacing broken latches with new ones Alno Product Services are more than happy to purchase the broken latches.

Holden Astra Roof Latches - Replacement

Broken Roof latches on your Holden / Vauxhall Astra Convertible

There are two choices you can replace or repair them.

If you decide to replace them, then ALNO Product Services are more than happy to buy the used latches from you.

Ask the mechanic or Holden dealer for the old latches once new ones have been fitted. You can drop them in or get a courier to drop them off. Our address is listed below.

We are not interested in buying latches that have tried to be repaired by a qualified or back yard mechanic these latches are generally damaged and not worth any value anybody.
